The Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Dispute Resolution) Appointed Day Order 2008

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004(1).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Dispute Resolution) Appointed Day Order 2008.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for the purposes of section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004 (procedure for issue and publication of codes of practice) for the coming into effect of the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 11: Dispute resolution - reasonable periods, is 28th July 2008.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order appoints the day for the purposes of section 91(9) (procedure for issue and publication of codes of practice) of the Pensions Act 2004 (c.35) for the coming into effect of the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No.11: Dispute resolution - reasonable periods.

A full impact assessment has not been published for this instrument as it has no impact on the private or voluntary sectors.
