(This note is not part of the Order)
These Regulations impose speed limits on the link roads of the newly constructed A1(M) Motorway and the M62 Motorway Holmfield Interchange. The A1(M) Motorway/M62 Motorway Holmfield Interchange was built as part of the upgrading of the A1 Trunk Road to the A1(M) Motorway in West Yorkshire.
The principal provision of the regulations is to impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on specified lengths of the six free flow link roads connecting the A1(M) Motorway and the M62 Motorway at Holmfield Interchange as described in the Schedule.
1984 c.27; section 17 was amended by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (c.22) s. 168 and Schedule 8, paragraph 28 and by the Road Traffic Act 1991 (c.40) s.48, Schedule 4, paragraph 25 and Schedule 8. Back [1]
