The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 71(2) of the Consumer Credit Act 2006(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Consumer Credit Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2008.
2.–(1) The Consumer Credit Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2008(2) is amended as follows.
(2) In article 3(2) for "1st October 2008" substitute "31st October 2008".
(3) In the heading to Schedule 3 for "1ST OCTOBER 2008" substitute "31ST OCTOBER 2008".

This Order amends the Consumer Credit Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2008 (the Original Order) to correct the date the provisions in Schedule 3 are being brought into force.
The Order is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of the Original Order.
