Coming into force in accordance with Article 1
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 351 of the Gambling Act 2005(1).
In accordance with section 355(6) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1. This Order may be cited as the Gambling Act 2005 (Amendment of Schedule 6) Order 2012 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
2. In Part 2 of Schedule 6(2) to the Gambling Act 2005 (enforcement and regulatory bodies)-
(a)omit the entry relating to the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority, and
(b)after the entry relating to the Office of Fair Trading insert-
"The Pensions Regulator".
3. In Part 3 of Schedule 6 to the Gambling Act 2005 (sport governing bodies)-
(a)before the entry relating to the British Boxing Board of Control Limited insert-
"The Association of European Professional Football Leagues (established in Switzerland)
Bowls England";
(b)after the entry relating to the British Boxing Board of Control Limited insert-
"The British Darts Organisation Limited
The British Horseracing Authority Limited
British Lions Limited (incorporated in Ireland)
Celtic Rugby Limited (incorporated in Ireland)
The Commonwealth Games Federation
England Hockey
England Squash and Racketball Limited";
(c)after the entry relating to the England and Wales Cricket Board Limited insert-

This Order amends Parts 2 and 3 of Schedule 6 to the Gambling Act 2005.
Part 2 of Schedule 6 lists enforcement and regulatory bodies who are able to exchange information with the Gambling Commission under powers conferred by section 30 of the Gambling Act 2005. The Order updates Part 2 by reflecting the transfer of functions from the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority to The Pensions Regulator.
Part 3 of Schedule 6 lists sports governing bodies to which the Gambling Commission may provide information in exercise of its functions under the powers conferred under section 30 of the Gambling Act 2005. The Order amends Part 3 by adding new bodies and updating the names of existing bodies.
