The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4(2) and 5(4) of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to make the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner Order 2013 and comes into force on 1st April 2013.
(2) In this Order "the Act" means the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967.
2. In Schedule 2 to the Act(2) (departments etc. subject to investigation)-
(a)insert at the appropriate place-
"Regulatory Policy Committee"
(b)omit the following entries-
"Advisory Board on the Registration of Homeopathic Products"

(c)omit "National Clinical Audit Advisory Group." and insert at the appropriate place "National Advisory Group on Clinical Audit and Enquiries.";
(d)omit "National Museum of Science and Industry." and insert at the appropriate place "Board of Trustees of the Science Museum.".
3. In Schedule 3 to the Act(3) (matters not subject to investigation) insert after paragraph 10(1)-
"(1A) Sub-paragraph (1)(a) shall not apply to any action (not otherwise excluded from investigation by this Schedule) which is taken by the Secretary of State in connection with the provision of any allowance, grant, supplement or benefit under-
(a)the Naval, Military and Air Forces etc. (Disablement and Death) Service Pensions Order 2006 (S.I.2006/606); or
(b)the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011 (S.I. 2011/517)."

This Order amends the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 ("the Act"). Article 2 of this Order amends Schedule 2 to the Act (departments etc. subject to investigation). It adds the Regulatory Policy Committee to the list of departments and authorities which are subject to investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration; it omits from that list those bodies referred to in article 2(b); and it amends those entries in the list referred to in article 2(c) and (d). Article 3 amends Schedule 3 to the Act (matters not subject to investigation) to exclude certain actions of the Secretary of State in connection with the occupational benefit schemes under the Naval, Military and Air Forces etc. (Disablement and Death) Service Pensions Order 2006 and the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.

Paragraph 10 of Schedule 3 was amended by S.I. 1983/1707 and section 1(3) of the Parliamentary and Health Service Commissioners Act 1987. Paragraph 10(2) of Schedule 3 was amended by section 19(1) of and paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 to the International Development Act 2002.
