The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 28(1) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
1. This order may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Services (Appointment of Inspector) (Wales) Order 2013 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
2. Lee Thomas Howell is appointed an inspector for the purposes of section 28(1) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 in its application to Wales.
3. The Fire and Rescue Services (Appointment of Inspector) (Wales) Order 2011(2) is revoked.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order appoints Lee Thomas Howell as an inspector under section 28(1) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 in its application to Wales. An inspector is appointed under section 28(1) for the purpose of obtaining information as to (a) the manner in which the fire and rescue authorities in Wales are discharging their functions and (b) technical matters relating to those functions.
It also revokes the 2011 Order which appointed his predecessor, Brian Duncan Fraser.
