The Immigration (Notices) (Amendment) Regulations 2013

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 105 and 112(3) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002(1).

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Notices) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and shall come into force on 28th April 2013.

Amendment to the Immigration (Notices) Regulations 2003

2.  Regulation 7(2) of the Immigration (Notices) Regulations 2003(2) (notice of service) is amended by omitting "signed" where it appears before "notice on the relevant file".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Immigration (Notices) Regulations 2003 to ensure that notices can be served to file in accordance with regulation 7 electronically and without the need for a signed document.
