The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 56(1) of the Pensions Act 2014(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2014 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2014.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of paragraphs 11 and 20 of Schedule 15 to the Pensions Act 2014 is 13th October 2014.

This Order brings into force certain provisions of the Pensions Act 2014 (c.19) ("the Act") on 13th October 2014.
Article 2 commences paragraphs 11 and 20 of Schedule 15 to the Act. Paragraph 11 amends section 176 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 (c.4) so that regulations made by virtue of sections 14A and 45(2A) of that Act are subject to the affirmative resolution procedure. Paragraph 20 amends section 172 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 (c.7) so that regulations made by virtue of section 14A of that Act are subject to the affirmative resolution procedure.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this Order as it has no impact on business or civil society organisations.
