(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (Judicial Review) (England and Wales) Fees Order 2011 (S.I. 2011/2344).
It increases the fees payable on starting judicial review proceedings in the Upper Tribunal.
If the fee has been paid for a request to reconsider at a hearing a decision on permission to bring a judicial review and permission is subsequently granted at a hearing, only half of the judicial review fee is then payable.
A full impact assessment of the effects of these fee increases can be found at https://consult.justice.gov.uk/digital-communications/court-fees-proposals-for-reform.
S.I. 2011/2344. Schedule 1 has been amended by S.I. 2013/2069 and 2013/2302.
