The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 52(3) of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015(1) makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2015.
2. Paragraphs 12 to 14 of Schedule 5 to the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 and section 25 of that Act, so far as relating to those paragraphs, come into force on 1st October 2015.

These Regulations bring into force, on 1st October 2015, those parts of section 25 of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 ("the Act"), and of Schedule 5 to that Act, that are not already in force. These are paragraphs 12 to 14 of Schedule 5 to the Act and section 25 of the Act, so far as relating to those paragraphs. These provisions relate to rail and maritime transport.
