The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in pursuance of paragraph 4(1)(a) of Schedule 3 to the Charities Act 2011(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Exempt Charities Order 2015 and shall come into force on 12th February 2015.
2. University of St Mark and St John is hereby declared to be an exempt charity for the purposes of the Charities Act 2011.

This Order declares University of St Mark and St John to be an exempt charity within the meaning of the Charities Act 2011 with effect from 12th February 2015. An exempt charity is not required to be registered with the Charity Commissioners and the Commissioners cannot exercise any powers under the Act in relation to an exempt charity except at the charity's request.
