Present,
The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
This Order is made by Her Majesty in Council in exercise of the power conferred by section 87(7) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998(1).

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order adds the Welfare Reform Act 2012 (c.5), Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/2006 (N.I.)), the Pensions Act 2014 (c.19), the Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2015 (c.5), the Pension Schemes Act 2015 (c.8) and the Pension Schemes Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 (c.1) to the legislation listed in section 87(6) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (c.47). The effect of this modification will be to render those Acts and that Order subject to the provisions in section 87 concerning consultation and co-ordination between the Secretary of State and the Northern Ireland Minister having responsibility for social security, with a view to securing that, to the extent agreed between them, the legislation provides a single system of social security and pensions for the United Kingdom.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this Order as it has no impact on business or civil society organisations.
