The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017( 1), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (ICMP Management Limited) Order 2021 and shall come into force on 1st September 2022.

Competence to grant awards

2.  ICMP Management Limited shall be competent to grant taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(a) and defined under section 42(3) of the said Act for a fixed term beginning on 1st September 2022 and expiring on 30th November 2025.

3.  ICMP Management Limited may authorise other institutions to grant such awards as specified in article 2 of this Order on its behalf.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, made under section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 authorises ICMP Management Limited with the power to award taught awards for a three-year and three-month fixed term expiring on 30th November 2025. This Order will come into force on 1st September 2022.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
