The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 1(5) of the Ministry of Defence Police Act 1987( 1), makes the following Regulations:
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Ministry of Defence Police (Committee) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and shall come into force on 10th November 2022.
(2) Any amendment made by these Regulations has the same extent as the provision amended.
2. In regulation 3 (membership of the committee) of the Ministry of Defence Police (Committee) Regulations 2009( 2), omit paragraphs (b) to (e) and (g).

These Regulations amend the Ministry of Defence Police (Committee) Regulations 2009 ( S.I. 2009/1609) to change the membership of the Ministry of Defence Police Committee.
Regulation 2 removes five members of the Ministry of Defence Police Committee. Further information on the Committee’s members, role and functions can be found in the MOD Policy Committee: Terms of Reference document and associated guidance, copies of which may be obtained fromhttps://www.gov.uk/government/collections/mod-police-committeeor from the Directorate of Security and Resilience, Policing & Physical Security, Ministry of Defence, Main Building, Whitehall, London, SW1A 2HB.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
