11. The Role of Alternative Dispute Resolution In Furthering The Aims of The Civil Litigation Costs Review



I have taken this opportunity to speak to this RICS conference on Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR" ), an aspect which forms an important part of the Cost Review. The text of this lecture is being distributed as part of the documentation for this conference. Although this conference is concerned with expert evidence, with the agreement of the organisers, I am taking this opportunity to explain the court's approach to ADR.
