The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of their powers under sections 1, 7 and 23(f) and (g) of the Animal Health Act 1981(1), make the following Order:
1.-�(1) The title of this Order is the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2007:
(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.
(3) This Order comes into force at 3.05pm on 28 August 2007.
2.-�(1) The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978(2) is amended in accordance with this Article.
(2) In the table in Schedule 1 (which lists approved disinfectants) after the row containing the entry for VI-RID insert

This Order which applies in relation to Wales amends the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 (-�the 1978 Order-�), S.I. 1978/32.
Schedule 1 of the 1978 Order lists disinfectants approved by the Welsh Ministers. This Order amends Schedule 1 to add Virkon Advanced to the list of approved disinfectants.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument.

The functions of -�the Ministers-� insofar as exercisable in relation to Wales, were transferred to the National Assembly of Wales by virtue of S.I. 1999/672 and S.I 2004/3044 and are exercisable by the Welsh Ministers by virtue paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales 2006.
