The Learner Travel Information (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2010

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 16 and 27 of the Learner Travel (Wales) Measure 2008(1), make the following Regulations:

Title, commencement and application

1.–(1) The title of these Regulations is the Learner Travel Information (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and they come into force on 1 April 2010.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.

Amendment

2. The Learner Travel Information (Wales) Regulations 2009(2) are amended by adding after paragraph 3 of Part 1 to the Schedule the following -

"4. The travel behaviour code made by the Welsh Ministers under section 12 of the Measure.".

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Learner Travel Information (Wales) Regulations 2009 which set out the information required to be published by local authorities about travel arrangements made under the Learner Travel (Wales) Measure 2008.

The amendment adds the travel behaviour code made by the Welsh Ministers under section 12 of the Measure to the information to be published.
