AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE PRESIDENT OF IRELAND SHALL BE PRESIDENT OF THE IRISH RED CROSS SOCIETY. |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— |
||
| President of Ireland to be President of the Irish Red Cross Society. |
1.—(1) The President of Ireland shall, by virtue of his office, be President of the Irish Red Cross Society. |
|
|
(2) Article 7 of the Irish Red Cross Society Order, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 206 of 1939 ), is hereby revoked. |

| Short title and collective citation. |
2.—This Act may be cited as the Red Cross Act, 1944 , and the Red Cross Act, 1938 (No. 32 of 1938), and this Act may be cited together as the Red Cross Acts, 1938 and 1944. |
