SCHEDULE

AN ACT TO CONFIRM CERTAIN ORDERS MADE UNDER THE EMERGENCY IMPOSITION OF DUTIES ACT, 1932 .

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—

Confirmation of Orders.

1.—(1) The several Orders mentioned in the second column of the Schedule to this Act, and made under the Emergency Imposition of Duties Act, 1932 (No. 16 of 1932), are hereby confirmed.

(2) The particulars stated in the first and third columns, respectively, of the Schedule to this Act in relation to the Orders mentioned in the second column of that Schedule are inserted solely to facilitate reference to and identification of those Orders, and, accordingly, nothing contained in the said first column or the said third column shall affect the construction or limit or control the operation of this section and the second column of that Schedule.

Short title.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (Confirmation of Orders) Act, 1957 .

No. 241 of 1956.	Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 387) (Preparations or Mixtures Containing Malt Extract) Order, 1956.	Extension of scope of duty on preparations containing malt extract.
No. 243 of 1956.	Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 388) (Wooden Clothes Pegs) Order, 1956.	Imposition of duty on wooden clothes pegs and component parts therefor.
No. 246 of 1956.	Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 389) (Television Sets) Order, 1956.	Increase in duty on television sets.
No. 266 of 1956.	Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 390) (Card Clothing) Order, 1956.	Imposition of duty on card clothing for use on textile machinery.
No. 267 of 1956.	Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 391) (Abrasives) Order, 1956.	Increase in duty on abrasives.
No. 279 of 1956.	Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 392) (Mosaics) Order, 1956.	Imposition of duty on pieces of mosaic mounted on paper, paperboard, textile fabric or other material.
