		AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 5 of THE DEFENCE FORCES (PENSIONS) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1938 .
		[9th July, 1957.]
		BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—
	Amendment of section 5 of the Defence Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Act, 1938 .	1.— Section 5 of the Defence Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Act 1938 (No. 33 of 1938), is hereby amended by the deletion of "(subject to the previous consent of the Minister for Finance)".
	Short title and collective citation.	2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Defence Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Act, 1957 .
		(2) The Defence Forces (Pensions) Acts, 1932 to 1949, and this Act may be cited together as the Defence Forces (Pensions) Acts, 1932 to 1957.
