AN ACT TO AMEND THE CONNAUGHT RANGERS (PENSIONS) ACTS, 1936 TO 1962. |
||

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— |
||
| Increase of service pensions and disability pensions. |
1.—(1) A pension to which this section applies shall be increased by five per cent. |
|
|
(2) This section applies to— |
||
|
( a ) a service pension payable under the Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Acts, 1936 to 1962, and |
||
|
( b ) a disability pension so payable. |
||
|
(3) An increase under this section shall have effect from (and inclusive of) the 1st day of November, 1963. |

| Short title and collective citation. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Act, 1964 . |
|
|
(2) The Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Acts, 1936 to 1962, and this Act may be cited together as the Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Acts, 1936 to 1964. |
