INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1983

AN ACT TO ENABLE ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS NOT EXCEEDING A SPECIFIED TOTAL AMOUNT TO BE MADE ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT TO THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:

1.— Section 3 of the International Development Association Act, 1960 is hereby amended by the substitution of the following paragraphs for paragraph (h) of subsection (2) (inserted by the International Development Association (Amendment) Act, 1980 ):

"( h ) payments to the Association not exceeding in aggregate £2,076,667, in accordance with any arrangements made between the Government and the Association arising out of any Resolution by the Board of Executive Directors of the Association on arrangements for special contributions,

( i ) payments under subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c) of Section 4 of Article VII of the Agreement.".

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the International Development Association (Amendment) Act, 1983 .

(2) The International Development Association Acts, 1960 to 1980, and this Act may be cited as the International Development Association Acts, 1960 to 1983.
