BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: |
||||||
| Short title and collective citation. |
1.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) Act, 1989. |
|||||
|
(2) The Údarás na Gaeltachta Acts, 1979 and 1987, and this Act may be cited together as the Údarás na Gaeltachta Acts, 1979 to 1989. |

| Amendment of section 23 of the Údarás na Gaeltachta Act, 1979. |
2.—Section 23 of the Údarás na Gaeltachta Act, 1979, is hereby amended by the substitution in subsection (4) of "£80,000,000" for "£60,000,000" (inserted by the Údarás na Gaeltachta (Amendment) Act, 1987) and the said subsection, as so amended, is set out in the Table to this section. |

(4) The aggregate at any one time of sums advanced under this section and not repaid shall not exceed £80,000,000. |
