AN ACT TO PROVIDE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUBSECTION 5° OF SECTION 7 OF ARTICLE 29 OF THE CONSTITUTION, FOR A PERIOD OF TIME LONGER THAN THAT SPECIFIED IN THE SAID SUBSECTION 5° WITHIN WHICH THE GOVERNMENT MAY MAKE A DECLARATION UNDER THE SAID SECTION 7. [2nd June, 1999] |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: |

|
Period of time within which declaration under Article 29.7 of Constitution may be made. |
1.— The period of 24 months commencing on the day on which section 7 of Article 29 of the Constitution was added to the Constitution is hereby provided for the purposes of subsection 5° of that section. |

Short title. |
2.— This Act may be cited as the Declaration under Article 29.7 of the Constitution (Extension of Time) Act, 1999. |
