I, TOMÁS Ó DEIRG, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Vocational Education Acts, 1930 to 1944, and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations:

Short title

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Vocational Education Act, 1930 (Sections 44 and 46) Regulations, 1945.

The Act

2. In these Regulations the expression " the Act " means the Vocational Education Act, 1930 (No. 29 of 1930).

Interpretation

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

Forms.

4. —(1) An annual scheme under subsection (1) of section 44 of the act shall be in the Form V. 1 in the Schedule hereto and shall contain the particulars indicated in the form.

(2) A certificate under subsection (1) of section 46 of the act shall be in the Form V. 2 in the Schedule hereto and a demand under subsection (2) of the said section shall be in the Form V. 3 in the said Schedule.

Payment of amount of demand

5. For the purposes of subsection (3) of section 46 of the act the amount of a demand for or in respect of a local financial year made under subsection (2) of the said section 46 by a vocational education committee to a rating authority shall be paid by such rating authority transferring such amount to the credit of the account of such vocational education committee in the bank which is treasurer of such vocational education committee in four equal instalments, whereof the first shall be so transferred on or before the 15th day of May in such local financial year, the second on or before the 1st day of July in such local financial year, the third on or before the 1st day of October in such local financial year, and the fourth on or before the 1st day of January in such local financial year.

Revocation of Regulations of 1930.

6. The Vocational Education Regulations (No. 1), 1930 ( S. R. & O. No. 86 of 1930 ), are hereby revoked.
