CONTROL OF IMPORTS (AMENDMENT OF QUOTA NO. 2 AND REVOCATION OF QUOTA NO. 15) ORDER, 1955. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, hereby order as follows : |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Amendment of Quota No. 2 and Revocation of Quota No. 15) Order, 1955. |
||
|
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||
|
3. The inner tube of a pneumatic tyre shall, as well as the outer cover of a pneumatic tyre, be deemed to be a pneumatic tyre for the purposes of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 2) Order, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 231 of 1934 ), and " pneumatic tyre " shall in that order be construed accordingly. |

4. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 2) (Amendment) Order, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 46 of 1935 ), and the Control of Imports (Quota No. 15) Order, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 65 of 1935 ), are hereby revoked. |
||
|
5. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of December, 1955. |
||
|
