STATE GUARANTEES ACT, 1954 (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) ORDER, 1959.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1959.

(2) The State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 256 of 1957 ), the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 74 of 1958 ), and this Order may be cited together as the State Guarantees Act 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Orders, 1957 to 1959.

2. The Schedule to the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954) is hereby amended by adding " Shannon Free Airport Development Company, Limited " to the bodies specified in the second column and inserting in the third column " £200,000 " in respect of that body.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order enables the Minister for Finance to guarantee borrowing by the Shannon Free Airport Development Company, Limited--up to a maximum of £200.000--under the State Guarantees Act, 1954 .
