HEALTH BOARDS (TENURE OF OFFICE OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS) ORDER, 1997 |

The Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister by section 14 (1) of the Health (Amendment) (No. 3) Act, 1996 (No. 32 of 1996) (as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1997 )), hereby orders as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Boards (Tenure of Office of Chief Executive Officers) Order, 1997. |
||
|
2. It is hereby prescribed that - |
||
|
( a ) the prescribed period, for the purposes of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 14 of the Health (Amendment) (No. 3) Act, 1996 (No. 32 of 1996), shall be 7 years, and |
||
|
( b ) the prescribed age, for the purposes of paragraph (b) of that subsection, shall be the date on which the person attains 65 years of age. |
||
