HEALTH INSURANCE ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1999

The Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Health Insurance Act, 1994 ( No. 16 of 1994 ), as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1997 ), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Insurance Act, 1994 (Commencement) Order, 1999.

2. Sections 12(1), 12(2), 12(3), 12(6), 12(7), 17 and 19 to 34 shall come into operation on the fourth day of February 1999.

This Order commences sections 12(1), 12(2), 12(3), 12(6), 12(7), 17 and 19 to 34 of the Health Insurance Act, 1994 .
