The National Ambulance Advisory Council (Revocation) Order 2000

The Minister for Health and Children in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 7 and 98 (amended by section 41 of the Health Act, 1953 ( No. 26 of 1953 )) of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) , as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1997 ), hereby orders as follows:

1.         (1)       This Order may be cited as the National Ambulance Advisory Council (Revocation) Order, 2000.

(2)       This Order shall come into operation on the 10th day of April, 2000.

2.         (1)       The National Ambulance Advisory Council Order, 1998 ( S.I. No. 27 of 1998 ) is hereby revoked and the Council established by virtue of that Order is hereby dissolved.

(2)        Nothing in this Order shall invalidate any decision or action of the Council dissolved by virtue of this Order and any such decision or action shall continue to have effect as if it were a decision or action of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council established by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (Establishment) Order, 2000 ( S.I. No. 109 of 2000 ).

The effect of the Order is to revoke the National Ambulance Advisory Council Order. 1998 ( S.I. No. 27 of 1998 ) and dissolve the National Ambulance Advisory Council established under that Order.
