SUPERANNUATION (DESIGNATION OF APPROVED ORGANISATIONS) REGULATIONS 2002 |

I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 4 (1) of No. 24 of 1963 ), hereby make the following Regulations: 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations 2002. |

(2) The Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 2000 and these Regulations may be cited together as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations 1964 to 2002. 2. The organisations specified in the Schedule to these Regulations are hereby designated as approved organisations for the purposes of Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act 1963 ( No. 24 of 1963 ). |

Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 provides for the transfer of pensionable service in the case of staff transfers between the Civil Service and “approved organisations”, and between one “approved organisation” and another. These regulations designate the organisations set out in the schedule as “approved organisations”. |
