Statistics (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2002

To be made by the Government

The Government, on the request of the Taoiseach and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of No. 28 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1.         This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2002.

2.         The powers and duties of the Taoiseach conferred on him by or under -

(a)         No. 21 of 1993 ), and

(b)        the Civil Service Regulation Acts 1956 and 1958 and No. 45 of 1956 ) insofar as those Acts relate to the Central Statistics Office,

are delegated to Mary Hanafin, Minister for State at the Department of the Taoiseach.
