		Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act 2000 (Remaining Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2003
		I, Dermot Ahern, Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act 2000 ( No. 14 of 2000 ), hereby order as follows: 1.         This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act 2000 (Remaining Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2003. 2.         The 25th day of March 2003 is fixed as the day on which so much of the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act 2000 ( No. 14 of 2000 ) as is not in operation comes into operation.

		EXPLANATORY NOTE (THIS NOTE IS NOT PART OF THE INSTRUMENT AND DOES NOT PURPORT TO BE A LEGAL INTERPRETATION)
		This Order brings into operation the remaining provisions (sections 1 - 43) of the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act 2000 ( No 14 of 2000 ) with effect from the 25th March 2003.
