Immigration Act 2003 (Section 7) (Commencement) Order 2003

I, Michael McDowell TD, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13(2) of the Immigration Act 2003 ( No. 26 of 2003 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration Act 2003 (Section 7) (Commencement) Order 2003.

2. The 15th day of September 2003 is fixed as the day on which section 7 of the Immigration Act 2003 ( No. 26 of 2003 ) shall come into operation.

This Order commences section 7 the Immigration Act 2003 (Amendment of Refugee Act 1996) with effect from 15 September 2003.
