1.   These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Registration of Importers of Animal Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2004.

2.   The European Communities (Registration of Importers of Animal Products) Regulations 2004 ( S.I. No. 269 of 2004 ) are amended by-

a)   Substituting “Regulation 5” for “Regulation 4” in Regulations 7(1), 7(2), 8(1) 8(2) and 8(3) in each place where occurs.

This Order amends S.I. No 269 of 2004 , which provides that for the import of animal products the importer and importing agent must be registered.
