SALMON ROD ORDINARY LICENCES (ALTERATION OF LICENCE DUTIES) ORDER 2004.

I, Pat the Cope Gallagher, Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 68 of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act 1959 ( section 6 of the Fisheries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1987 ( No. 32 of 1987 )) and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) as adapted by the Marine and Natural Resources (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 307 of 2002 )) and the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2004 ( S.I. No. 703 of 2004 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Salmon Rod Ordinary Licences (Alteration of Licence Duties) Order 2004.

2. This Order shall have effect as respects licences issued or renewed for a period commencing on or after 1 January 2005.

3. The ordinary licence duty in respect of a salmon rod licence of a class specified in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order at any reference number is altered to the sum specified in column (3) of that schedule at that reference number.

4. The Salmon Rod Ordinary Licences (Alteration of Licence Duties) Order 2003 ( S.I. No. 687 of 2003 ) is revoked.

This Order prescribes the licence fees payable in respect of salmon rod ordinary fishing licences including the Foyle Area extension licence issued in respect of a period commencing on or after 1 January 2005.
