MARINE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER 2005.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2005.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources conferred on him under the European Communities (Live Bivalve Molluscs) (Health Conditions for Production and Placing on the Market) Regulations 1996 ( S.I. No. 147 of 1996 ) as amended by the European Communities (Live Bivalve Molluscs) (Health Conditions for Production and Placing on the Market) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 ( S.I. No 390 of 2000 ) are delegated to Pat the Cope Gallagher, Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources.
