DEFENCE ACT 1842 - SECT 22

Court to require the party to give security for costs.

22. Provided also, that it shall be lawful for the court or judge ... making
any such rule or order to require that the party on whose application the same
shall be made shall give such security as shall to such court, judge, ... seem
proper, for payment of costs, under such circumstances as shall be specified
in any rule or order made for that purpose.
