STRATEGIC INVESTMENT
The Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Designation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003

	Made	7th March 2003
	To be laid before Parliament under paragraph 7(3) of the	Schedule to the Northern Ireland Act 2000
	Coming into operation	1st April 2003

Whereas the Strategic Investment Board Limited fulfils the conditions mentioned in Article 5(2) of the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Northern Ireland) Order 2003[1];

Now therefore, the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in exercise of the power conferred on it by Article 5(1) of that Order and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Title and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Designation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2003.

Designation
2. The Strategic Investment Board Limited is hereby designated for the purposes of Part II of the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Northern Ireland) Order 2003.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

The Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 enables the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister to designate a company for the purposes of Part II of that Order.

This Order designates the Strategic Investment Board Limited for such purposes.
