SALARIES

Salaries (Comptroller and Auditor General) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004

  Made 8th January 2004 
  To be laid before Parliament under paragraph 7(3) of the Schedule to the Northern Ireland Act 2000
  Coming into operation 1st March 2004 

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 4(1) of the Audit (Northern Ireland) Order 1987[1] and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I hereby make the following Order:

Title and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Salaries (Comptroller and Auditor General) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2004.

Salary
     2. The annual salary payable to the holder of the office of Comptroller and Auditor General shall be increased as follows -

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)


This Order provides for increases in the annual salary payable to the Comptroller and Auditor General, calculated with reference to the Report of the Review Body on Senior Salaries in 2002 (HMSO CM 5389-1) and 2003 (HMSO CM 5718).

These increases are made with effect from 1st April 2002 and 1st April 2003 respectively under Article 4(1) of the Audit (Northern Ireland) Order 1987.
