Limited Liability Partnerships (Records Inspection) (Fee) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004

  Made 16th September 2004 
  Coming into operation 1st November 2004 

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment[1], in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 657(1)(b) of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986[2], as applied to limited liability partnerships by regulation 4 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004[3], and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
     1. These Regulations may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships (Records Inspection) (Fee) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2004.

Interpretation
     2. In these Regulations any reference to a numbered Article is to an Article of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 as applied to limited liability partnerships by regulation 4 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004.

Fees
     3.  - (1) Subject to paragraph (2) a fee of £2 shall be payable to the registrar in respect of each inspection of records under Article 658[4] relating to one limited liability partnership.

    (2) Paragraph (1) shall not apply in relation to an inspection of the index kept by the registrar under Article 663[5].

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)


These Regulations are made under Article 657(1)(b) of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 as applied to limited liability partnerships by regulation 4 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004. Article 657(1)(b) enables Regulations to provide for the payment of fees in respect of the inspection of documents kept by the registrar. The fee prescribed for each inspection of records relating to one limited liability partnership is £2.
