HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A66 Trunk Road (Temple Sowerby Bypass and Improvements at Winderwath) (Detrunking) Order 2004

  Made 7th October 2004 
  Coming into force 10th November 2004 

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

     1. This Order may be cited as the A66 Trunk Road (Temple Sowerby Bypass and Improvements at Winderwath) (Detrunking) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 10th November 2004.

    
2. In this Order - 

     3. The length of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies Cumbria County Council that the new trunk road is open for traffic.

SCHEDULE

LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD


The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated between a point 130 metres east of the access to Whinfell House and the junction of that trunk road with U3319 Priest Lane, and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA 10/OD/393, and marked "The A66 Trunk Road (Temple Sowerby Bypass and Improvements at Winderwath) (Detrunking) Order 2004."
