European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Products of Plant Origin, including Fruit and Vegetables) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003

I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 ( No. 27 of 1972 ), and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive 2002/97/EC of 16 December 20021 and Commission Directive 2002/100/EC of 20 December 20022 , hereby make the following Regulations:

1.       These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Products of Plant Origin, including Fruit and Vegetables) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003.

2.       The First Schedule, Part 2, Annex II of the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Products of Plant Origin, including Fruit and Vegetables) Regulations 1999 ( S.I. No. 179 of 1999 ) (inserted by the European Communities (pesticide Residues) (Products of Plant Origin, including Fruit and Vegetables) Regulations 2002 ( S.I. No. 535 of 2002 )) is amended by inserting the matter at the Schedule to these Regulations.
